about

Inspired by Nas' "Black Zombies," a young Corina Corina penned a song with a similar theme from her own perspective as a young woman. After tweaking the lyrics for almost ten years, she was anxious to finally unveil this deeply personal song on her debut album, The Eargasm. She called upon her good friend, rapper/producer Has-Lo of Mellow Music Group, because she knew his moody, understated production would provide the perfect backdrop for her intense lyrical delivery. The final product illustrates the mixed messages women recieve from the media, which conspire to make them feel as if they're never quite good enough. But we all know that every woman is beautiful, and Corina is happy to provide a reminder.
