Corina Corina rarely writes love songs. When she does, she makes sure they count. For the first single from her upcoming EP, “Come Again: The Eargasm Extended” Corina has chosen a remix of one of the only love songs from her debut album, “The Eargasm.”

With “O.D. Love,” Corina offers a complex narrative of how a fulfilling relationship is worth waiting for, working for, and treasuring, while also admitting past damage that could threaten that notion. Stepping even further out of her comfort zone, Corina takes the listener on a flow roller coaster by initiating the jump-off with a few bars of rapping, then riding to the top of the hill with an ass-whoopin’ of her signature powerhouse vocals and bringing it back down into a soft falsetto leading into the chorus. These diverse vocal styles perfectly mirror the conflicting, and sometimes painful, emotions that seem to be omnipresent in the arena of true love.

With this remix, the original track is given a syncopated futuristic treatment from Connecticut producer Deto-22, providing a bouncy and quirky contrast to producer Willie Green's original composition. “O.D. Love” is Corina Corina exhaling without waiting, and is the perfect preview for what to expect from “Come Again: The Eargasm Extended.”
