I wanted this album to have a slightly lighter feel than my last. Deep down I am a free spirited Bay Area hippy chick who loves everyone so it was time for me to write a song about it! This track is probably the closest thing to what Willie Green did on his 2013 dance album, “We Live in the Future.” He played me the instrumental when we were having our first meetings about this album and I immediately knew it was something I wanted to write to. It came out super fun and funky and we decided to take it one step farther by adding live strings and guitar plus two modulations. It was the very first song we recorded for the album and it was also the most difficult one for me, vocally. I'm not sure people know how much range my voice has but after hearing this song, they'll know ;)
